It has been an interesting year to put it simply. I always take this time to reflect on the past year and while 2020 had its challenges, I feel that overall, it was pretty good.
I was able to capture so many moments in people's lives that they can't get back, regardless of the obstacles we were presented with. This year made me realize how much I love what I do!
Here is a recap:
January through March started off great with maternity and newborn sessions. I loved meeting all the first time parents as well as little ones that were excited to get photos with their new sibling.
In May, I had to cancel the Mom and Me mini sessions I had planned. I was really looking forward to these and hope to offer them in 2021.
In June, I adapted to the restrictions so that I could get back to capturing the precious moments of maternity, newborn, milestone and seniors. This was able to continue through the Summer with outdoor sessions.
I had exciting plans for November (which I will keep a surprise in the event I can make them happen in 2021!) but I was at least able to continue with the tree farm mini sessions.
While I was unable to operate for a total of 3 months this year and had to operate outside of my standard way for a majority of the year, I still got to meet so many amazing families and capture wonderful moments in their lives. Looking at the photos from this year's sessions put a smile on my face and made me realize even more how important and timeless photos are. A big thank you to all the people that allowed me to capture these wonderful memories!
